The CAFD’s primary responsibility is to protect Life and Property, prevent the loss of life, put our life’s on the line for other’s, and to protect Citizens from any disaster. We are an All Risk & all Hazardous department meaning our firefighters are specially trained to handle any disaster and incident that occurs at any given time

CAFD | Subdivisions

- Search and Rescue: Search and rescue is the search for and provision of aid to people who are in distress or imminent danger. The general field of search and rescue includes many specialty sub-fields, typically determined by the type of terrain the search is conducted over.

- Emergency Medical Services: Emergency medical services, also known as ambulance services or paramedic services, are emergency services that provide urgent pre-hospital treatment and stabilization for serious illness and injuries and transport to definitive care.
